A Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable on Thursday saved the lifetime of a 50-year-old girl after she slipped whereas boarding a transferring prepare at a railway station in Mumbai.
The incident happened on the Sandhurst Road railway station in Mumbai.
In a video tweeted by the RPF, the lady was seen attempting to board the prepare after it had began transferring. Quick-thinking constable Sapna Golkar, who was standing close to the platform benches, rushed to her rescue and pulled her out to security on the platform, confirmed the CCTV footage.

Had Constable Golkar not acted on time, the lady would have slipped and fallen into the hole between the platform and the prepare.
The Railway Protection Force lauded the constable for her “brave act”.
“#RPF CT Sapna Golkar shines immediately along with her brave act. She saved a woman who slipped whereas boarding a operating prepare at Sandherst Station, Mumbai (sic),” the power stated in a tweet.
