To oppose the closure of BSc (agriculture) course at Faridkot Government Brijindra College, many retired lecturers, college students and social activists have began a sequence starvation strike right here.
While college students of the faculty have been holding a sit-in at the gate of the faculty for the previous many months, social activists and lecturers have joined palms with them.
The college students alleged that no admissions have been made to the BSc course for the previous two years on the pretext that the faculty was not fulfilling some situations below the Punjab State Council for Agricultural Education Act.
It is alleged that many schools within the state have been discovered not complying with the foundations, as talked about within the Act, with the intention to present crucial infrastructure for imparting sensible data to the scholars. — TNS
