Poster and Poetry competitors on ‘Sathaai Vikas hello Sahi Vikas’
CHANDIGARH: To make sure that youth perceive sustainable growth and SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), Punjab Planning Department and UNDP – SDG Coordination Centre (SDGCC) has launched the Youth for SDGs marketing campaign. As a part of this, classes are being performed with college students from prime universities of the state and a Poster making and Poetry writing competitors has been introduced on the theme of ‘Sathaai Vikas hello Sahi Vikas’.
Divulging the main points, a spokesperson mentioned that participant can paint an image or write a poem on the theme of ‘Sathaai Vikas hello Sahi Vikas’, retaining in thoughts, interpretation/understanding of SDGs & Sustainable Development/Sathaai Vikas, How SDGs can combat COVID, How SDGs will make our Punjab happier and affluent for years to return. He mentioned that the submissions may be in both language – Punjabi, Hindi or English.
He mentioned that winners will likely be chosen for every class of the competitors and first prize winner will get Rs.7,500, Second Prize Rs.5,000 and Third Prize winner will get Rs.2,500. Participants will get a certificates of appreciation from the Department of Planning, Punjab and SDGCC, Punjab. SDGCC will promote the portray and artist by way of its social media handles (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram). All entries will likely be displayed as a gallery on the ‘SDG Academia Conclave’.
