CHANDIGARH: Punjab Government on Tuesday authorised proprietary rights to two extra slulocated at districts of Amritsar and Fatehgarh Sahib underneath the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh’s flagship slum growth programme- ‘Basera’.
The resolution was taken on the 4th assembly of the steering committee underneath the Basera scheme, chaired by the Chief Secretary, Vini Mahajan, right here.
With this resolution, as many as 7700 households positioned at 40 slum websites in several districts of the state have been given the proprietary rights to this point, stated Mahajan.
Reviewing the progress of the scheme, the Chief Secretary directed all of the Deputy Commissioners to expedite the method of granting proprietary rights on the earliest to assist the slum dwellers to realise their dream of having their very own house, apart from asking the Local Government division to full the family surveys.
