Ludhiana’s district administration prolonged its Covid-19 restrictions on Sunday because the district continued to report over 1,000 instances a day.
A proper order issued by District Magistrate Varinder Kumar Sharma mentioned it could continue having weekday curfew restrictions from 12 pm to 5 am and weekend lockdown from 12 midday on Friday to 5 am on Monday.
(*23*)’s official well being bulletin on Saturday reported 1,132 infections within the district on Saturday—the highest within the state—and 18 fatalities.
