Engineering entrance exam JEE-Mains scheduled to be held from April 27-30 has been postponed in view of the COVID-19 scenario, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ introduced on Sunday. “Given the present #covid19 scenario, I’ve suggested @DG_NTA to postpone the JEE (Main) – 2021 April Session. I want to reiterate that the protection of our college students & their tutorial profession are @EduMinOfIndia’s and my prime issues proper now,” Nishank tweeted.
According to an official order by the National Testing Agency (NTA), “trying at present scenario of COVID-19 pandemic and likewise making an allowance for the protection and properly being of candidates and examination functionaries, it has been determined to postpone JEE-(Main) April session”.
“The revised dates shall be introduced in a while and at the least 15 days earlier than the examination,” the order stated.
