CHANDIGARH: State Information Commission, Punjab (SIC) has declared Thapar University Patiala as “Public Authority” and directed them to offer required info to the appellant.
Disclosing this, Spokesperson of State Information Commission stated that RTI Activist Akash Verma sought info beneath the Right of Information (RTI) Act however Thapar University refused the identical and stated that the college will not be falling down in the ambit of RTI.
