The bi-annual commanders’ convention was inaugurated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on the Air Headquarters in Delhi.
In his remarks, Singh complimented the IAF for its total efforts to keep up fight readiness and its strategy to cope with future challenges, sources stated.
The commanders reviewed the general security challenges going through the nation together with the scenario in jap Ladakh, the location of a standoff between the Indian and Chinese militaries.
The Indian and Chinese armies have been engaged in negotiating disengagement from the remaining friction factors within the area after finishing withdrawal of troops and weapons within the north and south banks of the Pangong lake in mid-February.
In the course of the convention, the commanders may even focus on methods and insurance policies referring to additional enhancing capabilities of the IAF in view of the longer term challenges going through the nation.
The commanders may even deliberate on varied welfare and human useful resource measures to enhance administrative effectivity within the pressure.
The convention is being attended by the Air Officers Commanding-in-Chief of all instructions of the IAF, all principal employees officers and all director generals posted on the Air Headquarters in Delhi.
