Four persons died and a few others suffered accidents after a fire broke out in a private hospital at Nagpur in Maharashtra on Friday, an official stated.
The incident occurred at 8.10 p.m. at the hospital positioned in the Wadi space of the town, he stated.
“The fire reportedly began from an AC unit of the ICU positioned on the second flooring. The blaze remained confined to that flooring and didn’t unfold additional,” Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s chief fire officer Rajendra Uchke stated, including that it was a non-COVID-19 hospital.
Four persons died in the incident and a few others have been injured, he stated.
Several fire tenders have been rushed to the hospital, Mr. Uchke stated.
“There have been 10 sufferers on the second flooring when the fire erupted. While six sufferers got here out on their very own, 4 others have been rescued by the fire brigade personnel,” he stated.
