Rajya Sabha on Wednesday handed the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2021, amid scenes of opposition members strolling out in protest. The bill, which was handed in Lok Sabha on Monday, seeks to make it clear that the “authorities” in Delhi means the “Lieutenant Governor”.
