CHANDIGARH:The Punjab Government has directed the managements of private schools to not impose books, revealed by private publishers on the college students learning of their schools and they need to suggest the books solely revealed by the licensed institutes.
Disclosing this right here, a spokesperson of the Punjab School Education Department mentioned that the Director Education (SE) has issued letters to the managements of all private schools affiliated to the CBSE, ICSE and Punjab School Education Board. The intention of that is to guard the pursuits of the college students.
According to the spokesperson, some managements of private schools are imposing the books revealed by private publishers to the college students learning of their schools and the college students had been being requested to purchase these books and uniforms from particular retailers. Students and their dad and mom have to purchase these books at exorbitant costs. In view of the complaints acquired on this regard, the Education Department has issued directions to the managements of private schools to not straight or not directly drive the college students and their dad and mom to buy books and uniforms from particular retailers / corporations. In case of doing so, the accreditation / no-objection certificates of the responsible schools will likely be revoked.
