New Delhi: NASA’s rover to the Mars has despatched again an audio file containing sounds of the Perseverance driving on the Red Planet. This is the primary such audio recorded of any car driving around in Mars.
The 16-minute uncooked audio feed is grinding, clanking, banging affair fear folks again on Earth.
“If I heard these sounds driving my automotive, I’d pull over and name for a tow. But when you take a minute to contemplate what you are listening to and the place it was recorded, it makes excellent sense,” Dave Gruel, an engineer on the rover group, mentioned in a written NASA assertion.
Though, the NASA engineers are attempting to determine a sudden high-pitched scratching noise recorded within the driving audio.

On Wednesday, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California launched the 16-minute uncooked audio feed of the rover’s six metallic wheels and suspension on the very first check drive which befell two weeks in the past.
Perseverance is on the Red Planet trying to find indicators of previous life, it will gather samples from essentially the most promising rocks and produce it again to Earth.
The rover carries two microphones. One already has captured the sounds of wind and rock-zapping lasers, the opposite was meant to report the descent and touchdown. This second mike did not choose up any sounds of the rover’s arrival at Mars, however managed to report the primary check drive March 4.
