AMRITSAR: Giani Harpreet Singh, Jathedar, Sri Akal Takht Sahib launched the calendar of Nanakshahi Sammat 553 (Year 2021-22) within the presence of outstanding personalities.
This time the Nanakshahi calendar is devoted to the four-hundredth delivery anniversary of the ninth Sikh grasp, Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib.
The calendar, revealed by the Dharam Prachar Committee, of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), comprises footage of holy locations related to the ninth Guru.
While releasing the calendar on the secretariat, Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh appealed to the Sikh group to watch Gurpurabs (Guru’s delivery anniversaries) and different historic days in accordance with this calendar.
Congratulating on the event of Nanakshahi New Year, Giani Harpreet Singh mentioned, “The sangat ought to organise Gurmat Samagam (non secular programmes) on the event of Nanakshahi Year yearly as per Sikh custom. The four-hundredth delivery anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib on May 1, 2021 can be celebrated by the whole Sikh world in Khalsa Jaho-Jalal (awe-aspiring look). I enchantment to the sangats together with Sikh establishments and sampradas to be lively within the celebration of the historic delivery anniversary of Guru Sahib Ji and to take part absolutely within the ceremonies to be held on this regard.”
Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib mentioned that Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji has given nice present for humanity, which should be delivered from home to accommodate.
