Punjab’s Department of School Education has introduced preparatory leaves for all lessons in authorities, government-aided and personal faculties—a growth that comes as Punjab sees a second wave of coronavirus cases.
Punjab School Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla stated lecturers must attend college, and students who want their lecturers’ steerage might go to highschool to fulfill them.
Final examinations will likely be carried out in particular person, with strict adherence to COVID-19 protocol.
Schools have been instructed to make sure there’s no crowding throughout exams. SCERT will problem tips to assist conduct the exams, the minister stated.
Schools which have cases of COVID-19 must comply with the protocol set by the central and state well being ministries.
Punjab School Education Board has already launched the schedule for board examinations. Class 5 exams will start on March 16, Classes 8 and 12 on March 22, and Class 10 exams on April 9.
Exams for different lessons—Classes 6, 7, 9, and 11—will begin on March 15, and first students—Classes 1 to 4—on March 17.
