CHANDIGARH: Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Dinkar Gupta on Sunday, introduced coveted ‘DGP’s Commendation Disc’ for the Punjab Police Sub-Inspector Harpreet Singh, who secured the primary place within the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) Hackathon & Cyber Challenge-2021.
National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) and Cyber Peace Foundation had collectively organised this digital National-level competitors from March 3 to March 5, 2021, through which candidates offered their concepts below three classes together with Ideas to enhance NCRB IT Applications, Solutions for Problem Statements and Identification of recent IT Applications for Policing for Pan-India Rollout.
SI Harpreet Singh, who is a member of core staff of State Project Monitoring Unit (SPMU) in Technical Services Wing of Punjab Police has clinched the top spot for presenting his concepts to Improve NCRB IT Applications.
Meanwhile, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Technical Services Kuldeep Singh additionally congratulated SI Harpreet Singh for the achievement and conveyed greatest needs to him.
