Thousands of ladies farmers held protest marches and delivered speeches at the Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur protest sites at Delhi’s borders on International Women’s Day.
Noting that ladies contribute considerably to the nation’s farming sector, the organisers have laid out elaborate plans to let ladies farmers handle the stage, organize meals and safety and share tales of their struggles on the event.
“The stage is being managed by ladies, the audio system are all ladies and the problems which can be being mentioned are of each farming and ladies farmers extra particularly,” farmer chief Kavitha Kuruganti informed PTI on Monday.
