NEW DELHI: Rajya Sabha proceedings have been adjourned once more until 1 pm on Monday amid uproar by Opposition members in search of a dialogue on the problem of frequent enhance in gasoline costs.
Minutes after the House met at 11 am after the primary adjournment, Congress members once more demanded the dialogue on rising gasoline costs within the nation.
Leader of the Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge sought a dialogue on the matter.
He stated it was necessary to debate the matter as individuals have been struggling as a result of frequent enhance in gasoline costs.
Kharge stated the legislative enterprise might be taken up later.
However, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh didn’t enable the dialogue as he famous that the choice of the Chairman can’t be reopened.
Earlier Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu had not allowed the dialogue, saying the problem might be debated later.
As the Chair determined to proceed with the legislative enterprise, Opposition members began shouting slogans forcing the Deputy Chairman to adjourn the House until 1 pm.
