Sukhwinder Singh Randhawa condoles unhappy demise of former nationwide volleyball coach Gurmukh Singh
Chandigarh: Punjab Cooperation and Jails Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa right this moment condoled the demise of National Volleyball Coach Gurmukh Singh, the daddy of Senior Journalist Jupinderjit Singh, Special Correspondent of The Tribune and father-in-law of Kanchan Vasdev, Assistant Editor, The Indian Express.
Gurmukh Singh (77), who belongs to village Khalra (Amritsar), remained coach of just about each state’s Volleyball groups. He breathed his final at his residence in Mohali this night after a quick sickness. He is survived by his spouse and two sons.
In his condolence message, S. Randhawa stated that his demise has left a void within the enviornment of sports activities which is troublesome to be fulfilled. He prolonged his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved household, kinfolk and associates of the deceased and prayed to the Almighty to provide them the braveness to bear this grief and grant everlasting peace to the departed soul.
