Dr. Jaspal Kaur Kang, Head, Department of Guru Nanak Sikh Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh Delivers Keynote Adress on Third Day
Patiala: On the third day of National webinar devoted to four-hundredth beginning anniversary of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, Dr. Jaspal Kaur Kang, Head, Department of Guru Nanak Sikh Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh, shared her views as the keynote speaker. She mentioned that Guru Sahib gave impetus to the Sikh Gurus’ doctrines of Shakti-Bhakti, Shakti Shastra, and Miri-Piri.
The webinar which is being organised as the a part of collection of on-line seminars devoted to the four-hundredth beginning anniversary of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib with the initiative of Vice Chancellor Ravneet Kaur IAS, was centered on the theme of “Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur: Life and Legacy”.
Dr Daljit Singh, Head, Department of Punjab Historical Studies, Punjabi University, Patiala welcomed the keynote speaker and the viewers and mentioned that Guru Sahib gave a singular instance of independence, equality, and brotherhood by giving his martyrdom and saved Indian tradition, nationwide unity, and variety.
There is significant recluse in the Bani of Guru Sahib which leads man in the direction of industriousness, added Dr Jaspal Kaut. She mentioned by following the path of detachment from worldly affairs and with the renunciation of materialistic strategy (Moh-Maya), recluse is a logo of bringing social consciousness and revolution. Guru Sahib’s Bani locations the biggest emphasis on the attainment of non secular energy.
In the finish, Dr. Balwinderjit Kaur Bhatti, Department of Punjab Historical Studies introduced the vote of thanks to all the dignitaries and members of the webinar.
