Punjab Government’s ‘Jal Jeevan Mission’ in full tempo to offer potable water to rural households
Chandigarh: The Punjab Government is working ‘Jal Jeevan Mission’ to offer potable consuming water to the agricultural households. A weekly TV program “Jal Hai Taan Kal Hai” is being aired to teach and sensitize all of the individuals in regards to the aims and workings of Jal Jeevan Mission underneath ‘Har Ghar Nal, Har Ghar Jal’ marketing campaign. From February 21, the program will now be aired every Sunday at 5.30 pm on Doordarshan Jalandhar / DD Punjabi and on All India Radio Jalandhar (AIR) at 7 pm. This is the primary time the program will be aired on AIR. Earlier it was telecasted on Doordarshan Jalandhar / DD Punjabi on every Friday at 5.05 pm.
A spokesperson of the Water Supply and Sanitation Department stated that the program was hosted by famend actor Bal Mukand Sharma. He stated that the principle goal of the Punjab Government is to offer consuming water to every rural household, college, anganwadi heart, well being heart and group constructing by March 2022.
