Faridkot: The alleged rivalry amongst two teams within the municipal elections in Kotkapura has led to the registration of a legal case towards Bhushan Mittal, former councilor from the city, apart from his brother Parchottam Mittal, and two sons, Lovi Mittal and Dipanshu Mittal on the grievance of a shopkeeper who has alleged that the accused set his retailer on fireplace burning his Duster automobile and a motorbike parked within the yard.
They are the residents of manufacturing unit highway Kotkapura.

The complainant,Mukesh Garg, a resident of Muktsar highway Kotkapura alleged that through the municipal elections, he had supported the congress candidate Chanchal Kumar and after his defeat,Bhushan Mittal started to nurse a grouse towards him.
“When I used to be out to Delhi, the accused entered my godown/retailer midnight and set it on fireplace.I used to be knowledgeable by some shopkeepers subsequent morning that there was some fireplace in my retailer on Muktsar highway.once I rushed to the spot, I noticed that the Duster automobile and a motorbike parked within the yard of the shop had been badly broken by the fireplace. The fireplace even broken some PVC sheets within the retailer as nicely.I think that the fireplace was allegedly set on within the retailer by the accused as a result of of the grouse towards me as I had supported his rival candidate,” stated Mukesh Garg in his grievance to the police.

When contacted,Bhupinder Singh,IO within the case stated that investigation is on and no arrest has been made to date.
The police have recovered broken automobiles.
