The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan lashed out on skipper Mominul Haque and coach Russell Domingo after West Indies clinched the Test sequence 2-0 on Sunday. Rahkeem Cornwall scalped 4 whereas Jomel Warrican and Kraigg Braithwaite bagged three wickets every to bundle out Bangladesh within the second Test and win the match by 17 runs at Shere Bangla National Stadium on Sunday. Last week, Soumya Sarkar had changed injured Shakib Al Hasan for the second Test towards the West Indies. Hassan wasn’t happy with this resolution and slammed the coach and the skipper for selecting Sarkar for the second Test.
“When Shakib was injured, I had [board directors] Akram [Khan], [Khaled Mahmud] Sujon, [Ismail Haider] Mallick, [chief selector Minhajul Abedin] Nannu and [selector Habibul Bashar] Sumon in entrance of me,” ESPNcricinfo quoted Hassan as saying.

Bangladesh skipper Haque mentioned the hosts required an all-rounder instead of Shakib and defended his resolution of choosing Sarkar for the second Test.
“Shakib bhai’s absence threw off our mixture. I wanted a batsman who might bowl medium-pace,” mentioned Haque.
