Deputy Commissioner lays basis stone of the sanitary advanced at Pakhoke and Naiwala
Barnala: Under the ‘Har Ghar (*49*), Har Ghar Safai’ mission launched by the Punjab Government, in the first part ‘Public Toilet Complexes’ are being arrange in 49 villages of Barnala district with the most important goal of offering higher sanitation amenities to the individuals.
This is acknowledged by Deputy Commissioner Barnala Tej Partap Singh Phoolka whereas laying the basis stone of the ‘Sanitary Complex’ at village Naiwala and Pakhoke. He stated that underneath the second part of the Swachh Bharat Mission toilets are being constructed for the migrants and different poor individuals coming to work in the villages. Acting Engineer Water Supply and Sanitation Gurwinder Singh Dhindsa stated that the neighborhood rest room undertaking is being supplied to the involved villages which might have 4 bathroom-cum-toilets.
There will be 2 totally different toilets for women and men and anyone of these toilets will be for the disabled, which can be constructed as per the demand of the village panchayat. The price of one advanced is about Rs. 3 lakhs, out of which Rs. 2.10 lakhs will be supplied underneath Swachh Bharat Mission and Rs. 90,000 will be supplied underneath the fifteenth Finance Commission. Other officers and village panchayat representatives had been current on the event.
