Lucknow: Younger brother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Prahlad Modi on Wednesday sat on a ‘dharna’ on the Lucknow airport, demanding launch of his supporters who had been arrested by the Police. While chatting with reporters, Prahlad Modi stated that he had come to Lucknow from the place he was scheduled to go to Prayagraj, Sultanpur and different districts. Prahlad Modi, who’s the Vice President of All India Fair Price Shop Dealers’ Federation (AIFPSDF), was noticed on the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow.
While chatting with reporters, he questioned the functioning of Lucknow police and even threatened to go on an ‘indefinite starvation strike’ if his supporters weren’t launched.
“Is there a regulation in Uttar Pradesh that forestalls folks from welcoming somebody who has come to their metropolis? I need a copy of that order. Some policemen instructed me that there have been orders from Prime Minister’s Office too. I need to see that order as properly,” information company IANS quoted him as saying.

According to studies, some officers are dashing to the airport to satisfy Prahlad Modi. As per Additional General Manager (Operations) of the airport, Bhupendra Singh, Prahlad Modi arrived at Lucknow by an Indigo flight round 4 pm.
He sat on a dharna on the airport premises as he was sad over police stopping his supporters from reaching there, Singh stated, including that Prahlad Modi left after an hour and a half.
So far no official assertion or response was accessible nor from airport authorities nor Police officers.
