BAREILLY: A youth and a girl had been killed and their bodies hanged from a tree in the Mirganj space right here, police stated on Friday.
The youth, 19, and the girl, 17, had been in a relationship, Senior Superintendent of Police Rohit Singh Sajwan stated.
On Thursday, the girl’s members of the family discovered them speaking to one another at a secluded place and so they in a match of rage killed the duo and hanged their bodies from a tree, he stated.
On the grievance of the youth’s household, an FIR has been lodged in opposition to 4 individuals.
The girl’s uncle and brother have been arrested, Sajwan stated. The bodies have been despatched for autopsy, he stated.
