The listing of Trinamool Congress leaders leaving the celebration forward of Assembly elections in West Bengal continues to develop longer. In one more resignation from Team Mamata, Santipur MLA Arindam Bhattacharya on Wednesday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in New Delhi. Bhattacharya joined the saffron celebration within the presence Bengal in-charge Kailash Vijayvargiya on the celebration headquarters.

Addressing the media after becoming a member of the BJP, Bhattacharya accused the TMC management of blocking the trail of younger leaders like him.
“I had joined the TMC with nice hopes. I had massive plans for my area, I attempted my greatest to work however individuals like me weren’t allowed to progress. Our fingers have been tied in TMC. Infact, many eligible leaders who wished to carry out and take their space ahead weren’t allowed to work,” Arindam Bhattacharya stated.

Bhattacharya’s transfer has come a day after Mamata Banerjee, addressing a rally in Purulia, stated that those that wish to be a part of the BJP can go away.
“Those who wish to be a part of the BJP can go away, however we won’t bow our heads earlier than the saffron celebration,” the West Bengal CM had stated.
