The official stated on the second day that Serum Institute’s Covishield shall be administered as Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin is yet to be dispatched to the centres.
Telangana obtained 20,000 doses of the Covaxin as in opposition to 3.64 lakh of Covishied.
“Today (Monday) vaccination programme shall be achieved in 324 session sites. Each web site will administer 50 individuals. Only Covishield shall be given as Covaxin is yet to attain the sites,” the official informed PTI.
The official additional stated Covaxin has not been used because the state obtained fewer portions.
